Mondays and Fridays are days set aside for Ghanaians to  wear made-in-Ghana cloth. And this refers  refers to our textile prints and handmade colth. the prints are those from GTP and ATL.

the hand made cloths are the smocks(batakari) and kente.

The batakari is to worn on Mondays.

kente and the prints are to be worn on fridays

 

1.  KABA  AND  SLIT

The kaba and slit is one of the oldest styles that has been modified  over the years

Kaba refers to the top attire while the Slit refers to the down attiret must be a skirt.

both must be african prints otherwise it caeses to be kaba and slit..

for instance, if you wear the top with jeans trousers then its kaba with jeans trousers.
